These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Steady Foundations (“Steady Foundations”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for your use of buildsteadyfoundations.com (the “Site”) and our education service (the “Service”). By using the Site or the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Educational content only, not financial advice
Steady Foundations provides educational content only. Nothing on the Site or in the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy or sell any security or to follow any particular strategy. Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. Any decisions you make are your own. You should consider your own situation and, where appropriate, speak with a licensed professional.
Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are 18 or older and able to enter into this agreement.
Your account
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Please give accurate information when you register, and let us know if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Memberships, pricing, and payment
We offer a free tier and paid memberships. Current options include a free plan, a monthly Member plan, and a one-time Founding Member plan. Prices are shown on the Site and may change over time. A change will not affect a one-time purchase you have already made, and we will give notice before changing the price of a recurring plan.
Paid memberships are billed through Stripe. For recurring plans, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel. It is your responsibility to keep your payment details current.
Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a recurring membership at any time. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable, including the one-time Founding Member payment.
Access to content
While your membership is active, we grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to access the content for your own learning. You may not share your account, copy or redistribute the content, resell it, or use it to build a competing product. All content, including lessons, tools, text, and graphics, belongs to Steady Foundations or its licensors and is protected by law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you will not break the law, infringe the rights of others, try to gain unauthorized access to our systems, disrupt the Site, copy or scrape content at scale, or share harmful or misleading material where the Service allows you to post.
Content you provide
If the Service lets you post questions, comments, or other material, you keep ownership of what you post, but you give us permission to use it to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for what you share, and you agree not to post anything unlawful, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
Third-party services and links
The Service uses third parties such as Stripe and Kit, and may link to other sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or the content of other sites, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the content is complete or suitable for your particular circumstances. Please re-read the educational-only notice above.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Steady Foundations will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to cover and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses that arise from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before starting any formal dispute, we ask that you contact us so we can try to resolve it directly.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and significant changes may be announced on the Site. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
